What is Bellafill?

Suspended within that gel are tiny polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres, a biocompatible acrylic material that has been used safely in medicine for more than 65 years. Bellafill fills the fold immediately while stimulating lasting collagen support beneath the surface — with results proven to hold through five years in clinical studies.

Moderate to Severe Acne Scars

Bellafill is also the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for moderate to severe atrophic (depressed) acne scars on the cheeks in patients 21 and older. By filling the scar from beneath and encouraging new collagen growth, Bellafill elevates the depressed skin to match the surrounding surface — restoring a smoother, more even texture.

What to Expect

Before Treatment A simple skin test is required prior to your first Bellafill treatment to confirm you are not sensitive to the bovine collagen component. This is typically performed at a preliminary visit, with treatment scheduled after a negative result.
